The Hog Problem
Why are hogs a problem?
Hogs are reviled by farmers and ranchers because they tear up fields and destroy crops. Hunters hate hogs because they eat corn intended for deer and other game.
On top of their destruction, because they breed so quickly it's hard to get rid of them.
Hogs breed rapidly, and can have up to eight piglets in a litter. They have multiple litters per year. It is said that one sow can be responsible for 4000 progeny in a five year life.
We'll post some maps of how hogs have spread through the country in the last few years. They're going further and further.
